Zipolite - Tours
Whale and dolphin whatching
Zipolite is certainly one of the best places for "whale watching" on Mexico's Pacific coast. For exactly that reason a large part of the award-winning film "OUR OCEANS" was filmed in this region.

Expect to see:
Gray and humpback whales, sometimes orcas. The whale season lasts from December to March.

Schools of dolphins with sometimes more than 1000 specimens. If you want, you can experience them up close while snorkeling.

Sea turtles, jumping manta rays, flying fish, "boiling water" and plenty of seabirds as schools of fish hunt on the surface.
Sunrise at sea if you're ready to leave at 6am.
If you want, we can make a stop at a small beach with an excellent restaurant before returning to Zipolite.

Unfortunately, there is not always a guarantee of sightings here either. But because we are in contact with many fishermen, we know within minutes where whales or dolphins have been sighted. Thus, even on bad days, the probability of giving you this unique experience is very high.
