Beach hopping by boat

 

This "Easy Going" tour resembles a family Sunday outing,  but offers a rich experience. Immediately after leaving the harbour, we will leisurely cruise along the coast, close to the shore. This way you get a completely different, fascinating picture of the coastal region.

 

Depending on what happens, we will react to it. Very often we see shoals of fish predating on the surface, whales or dolphins. In this case, of course, we will make sure to be as fast as possible, close to, or even better, right in the action. If we spot dolphins, you can swim and snorkel among them if you like. Sometimes they like to be touched.

 

We do have some fixed points on this tour as well. Depending on your mood, we will anchor in untouched bays and later moor at one or two restaurants with small beaches. Here you can enjoy culinary delights, swim and snorkel in calm, crystal-clear water. Quite simply, enjoy a day away from tourism.

During the trip we, or better say you, will try to catch some fish. Fishing near the shore is very easy, even for beginners. If something is caught, there is the possibility to have the catch freshly prepared in one of the two restaurants.

Finally, when everyone is satisfied, we will "fly" back to the harbour, full throttle in real "Miami-Vice" manner. Even for us it is always a great experience to speed over the waves.

 

Duration:   Usually 4 hours are enough. If not,  we stay longer of course. The best time to leave is between 9 a.m. to 11 a.m

What to bring:  bathing suit - towel - hat - sunscreen - seasickness pill (if needed)

Price from Puerto Angel (Playa Panteon): 

Boat with captain:  1.000 Pesos per hour (divisible by up to 4 persons)
Boat with captain:  1.100 Pesos per hour (divisible by 5 up to 8 persons)

The price for the transport from Zipolite to Puerto Angel and back is about 200 Pesos and can be shared by up to 4 persons.
