Pluma Hidalgo

This tour leads to a picturesque village 1340m above sea level in the mountains of the Sierra Madre. In Pluma de Hidalgo coffee and cacao have been grown since 1880.

The coffee is considered one of the best in the world and has received many international awards in recent years.
 

In the village you can follow the entire process from harvest to ready-to-drink coffee very closely and of course you can buy it as an ideal souvenir.

From Pluma Hidalgo you have a beautiful panoramic view (all the way to the sea). In the middle of the jungle there are some waterfalls. The biggest one is over 70 meters high. In their freshwater pools it is excellent to swim and linger.

Duration: 8-9 hours

What to bring:  Sweater or jacket - Shoes - Swimwear - Headgear - Sunscreen - Insect repellent.

Other: There is no cell phone signal and no ATMs. Therefore bring enough cash with you.
