Twilight tour on Mexico's Pacific coast

This tour is something very special. To have such a hotspot on your doorstep is something special.

We start one hour before sunset to Roca Blanca, a large rock in the sea. Roca Blanca got its name because it is thickly covered in birds' excrement. Accordingly, the odor is really bad, if the wind blows from that direction.

At this time of day,
thousands of seabirds of various species are already gathered to spend the night here. Although the rock is already almost overcrowded with birds, more flocks are constantly returning from the open sea to find a place to sleep here.

The spectacle begins. Unmanageable chaos reigns in the air, accompanied by deafening screaming and shrieking. It’s so eerie, that one is inevitably reminded of Hitchcock`s film "The Birds".

The chaos and noise last until after nightfall.

Then silence prevails. 20 minutes later we’ll moor in Puerto Angel and enjoy the recap of what has happened with a cool beer or two.

Duration: 2,5 hours

To bring:  Towel - seasickness pill (if needed).

Price from Puerto Angel (Playa Panteon):
Boat with captain:  2.200 Pesos
The price can be divided between up to 6 people.

The price for the transport from Zipolite to Puerto Angel and back is about 200 Pesos and can be shared by up to 4 people

To experience such a spectacle at close range is extraordinary even in Mexico
